WQME now streaming live on the Web

Anderson University's own WQME 98.7 FM has announced that the station is now streaming live on the web. The new service allows anyone with Internet access to listen to the same broadcast that radio listeners hear when they tune in to WQME.
The stream may be accessed through the WQME web site by clicking the “Listen Now” graphic at the top of the page (www.wqme.com). In addition to the live audio stream, the new service provides information on recently played songs and artists, as well as links to various resources including WQME’s program schedule, upcoming concerts, contest registration, and WQME’s Twitter and Facebook pages.

A New Year's Prayer to sing and live-out

Touched by the lodestone of Thy love,
Let all our hearts agree,
And ever toward each other move,
And ever move toward Thee.

Charles Wesley, Jesus, United by Thy Grace

(the unity of Christ's Church in fellowship and purpose is my prayer for the new year 2010)

Passing of Dr. Eugene Newberry

Dr. Eugene Newberry, my seminary dean and Christian philosophy professor at AU SOT, passed away gently in his sleep last night, after attending a caroling visit from his friends at AU. He was greatly instrumental in my ordination process and preached my ordination sermon. I have a great love for this dear man of God. His wife, Agnes, passed away earlier in the year.

Anyhow, the ceremony involves me laying on the floor under the tree for 10 minutes, or so, trying to get the Christmas tree stand properly set. My son, Taylor, who is a student at AU, wasn’t around so we were completely dependent upon my mechanical apti… Continue

Anderson University student experiences classroom without walls

For more than a decade, the process of going to school has been about the same. You sign up and register for classes, sit in a classroom, listen to a teacher talk for a while and do homework. But what if you had the opportunity to do all of that in another country? Christy Oden, a [...]
