NORMAN MCMILLIAN

THIRTY YEARS

After graduating from Anderson College in May of 1979 i was hired as supervisor of the moving crew at the physical plant. I had worked on moving crew as a student. My boss was retiring and he recommended me for his replacement. I was working at the Village Pantry on Broadway for minimum wage $1.90 an hour and had just gotten married to my college sweetheart Shirley Webb. Of course i accepted the job because it paid more than i was making at VillageContinue

A New Year's Prayer to sing and live-out

Touched by the lodestone of Thy love,
Let all our hearts agree,
And ever toward each other move,
And ever move toward Thee.

Charles Wesley, Jesus, United by Thy Grace

(the unity of Christ's Church in fellowship and purpose is my prayer for the new year 2010)

Here, Look In On The Annual Christmas Tree Ceremony At Our House

Well, the Christmas tree is up! We had the annual Christmas tree ceremony at our house tonight.

Daria Barwinska Publishes Memoir of East Africa Trip

The fact that she is a published author has not yet sunk in for Daria Barwinska, a 2009 Anderson University graduate. Yet here she is, a native of Poland, holding a book she wrote in English based on a trip she took to Kenya, a trip she never would have taken had she not discovered Anderson University while researching colleges online.

For many incoming students at AU, there is a strong family or church connection, but for Barwinska, there was no prior conn… Continue
