AU Chorale releases schedule for 2010 spring tour

The Anderson University Chorale has set the schedule for its 2010 spring tour March 12-22 in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Ohio and Indiana. For more information, please visit the 2010 spring tour web site.

In its 64th season, the 45-voice Anderson University Chorale under the direction of conductor, Richard Sowers, has received national and international recognition for their many and varied performances. The Chorale has performed in concert for several national and regional conventions of the American Chorale Directors Association including a recent Central Division Convention in Indianapolis in which they were additionally honored to have been chosen to perform the world premiere of a new work commissioned by ACDA for this event.

Dr. Frank M. Hyde

Passing of Dr. Eugene Newberry

Dr. Eugene Newberry, my seminary dean and Christian philosophy professor at AU SOT, passed away gently in his sleep last night, after attending a caroling visit from his friends at AU. He was greatly instrumental in my ordination process and preached my ordination sermon. I have a great love for this dear man of God. His wife, Agnes, passed away earlier in the year.

Well, the Christmas tree is up! We had the annual Christmas tree ceremony at our house tonight.

Come on, sing with me…
